I shouted out "Everest!", but, of course, the answer was Taniquetil. Except that when Legate pronounced the word, it sounded like TanikvEtil, and I started discussing different pronunciations with him.

Um... yeah... how else should I pronounce it?




And, I wonder what does it tell about my level of Tolkien-obsession when, upon imagining a situation when somebody is supposed to name the highest mountain and says "Everest" instead of "Taniquetil", I'm thinking "huh, what an embarassing situation... how could somebody even say that?"
