This will probably sound really redundant after what everyone else has said, but I'd have preferred to see Glorfindel in the movie, even if just to keep closer to Tolkien's vision of the story. While I can understand PJ's wanting to make the story a little more contemporary (since when this was written, women generally didn't work outside the home), I still think he could have found other ways to bring this about. <P>Just my two cents. *climbs off the soap box*
