Narya 'ere we go...

Name (that you go by): Louis Ortal, Elenrod Felagund, and Nilpaurion Felagund. Plus half a dozen aliases.

Age: 17 years, 6 months and a day.

Occupation: A failing college student, a writer, and a Barrow-downer.

Future Aspirations: To finish my novels, collect enough Lego to rival the US Navy, and finish college - crawl through it, if I have to.

Goal in life: To be a better Christian, which includes being a good child, a good friend, and a good neighbour. Which currently I am not. I mean I have my days, but...never mind.

Short-term Goals: Survive this semester...or stop making impossible goals.

Passion: is a fruit. See Hobbies.

Hobbies: Reading, writing, watching TV and playing Lego. And a newfangled hobby called "loafing."

Famous for (okay this is where you get to brag about yourself): Making a 20" Lego model of the Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate. I was supposed to say high scorer at Minesweeper until I realised people can finish it in at least 1/4 the time I take to finish one. *sigh*

Favorites

Books
In order...

1. All Sherlock Holmes story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
2. The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas.
3. All tales of Middle-earth by J.R.R. Tolkien.
4. All Jack Ryan story by Tom Clancy.
5. The works of Philip Yancey.
6. The Little Prince by A.S. Exupery.

I also read comics, particularly enjoying Calvin and Hobbes and Archie comics.

Movies: Let's see...The best trilogy ever - I hope you all know which is that, all Star Wars, The Matrix(only), Lilo and Stitch, The Hunt for Red October, The Sum of All Fears, Independence Day, The Rock, Armageddon, Men in Black - both, Anger Management, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and Kate and Leopold - the odd one out. Guess why.

Sports Association Football, Basketball, Chess, Scrabble, Fencing, and Archery.

Store: Anything that sells food, Lego, and books. Especially PowerBooks bookstore.

Music: Mostly alternative stuff, a smattering of everything else.

Wait, here's the list: Clay Aiken, All-American Rejects, Blink 182, Michelle Branch, The Cardigans, Vanessa Carlton, Coldplay, The Corrs, Dido, Evan and Jaron, Fra Lippo Lippi, Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day, Natalie Imbruglia, Incubus, Lifehouse, Linkin Park, Lisa Loeb, Matchbox 20, New Radicals, Nickelback, Nickelcreek, Nine Days, The Offspring, Outkast, Papa Roach, Duncan Sheik, Simple Plan, Sixpence None the Richer, Smash Mouth, Splendor, System of a Down, Third Eye Blind, Three Doors Down, Toad Wet the Sprocket, Train, Vertical Horizon, and Wheatus. Whew!

Wait...there might be more.

TV Shows: OK...Gilmore Girls, the dearly departed The Weekenders, Will and Grace, Alias, The Practice, 24, The Amazing Race, and a growing respect for Survivor.

--------------------

What you can't stand: Backstabbing "friends", smokers who care not where they spout their smoke, mass transport.

Who you plain dislike: School and homework. ( Miriel Undomiel)

Who do you admire: Jesus Christ...the only perfect person...and he wasn't a perfectionist.

Your self-confessed flaws: I am a procrastinator, a liar, a loudmouth, and a sloth. And I have a mean capacity to retaliate against my enemies.

What intrigues or fascinates you: Everything I do not know.

What scares me: Seeing myself a few years from now. And Saucepan.

Quotations to live by:
  • Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. James 1:21
  • When I'm not in the news, I win.
  • I'm trying to live a normal life, which is always hard given what I do.
  • Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, but socially dead.
  • Early to bed, early to rise - might as well be dead.
  • Patience is not only a virtue - it's a job description.

    and...
  • Must...have...personal space...
