Why, Miss Child, dosen't everyone have an extra forty thousand dollars lying around for a new dining table?

I got the note about who to send my payment to for my Li'l Mr. Wood pics, coin, ring, etc. It's coming from Louisiana, so.....maybe it won't be here in too long.

$40,000 for a dining table! This is good news!

It makes my recent bids and wins on eBay for Tolkien Calendars seem quite small and acceptable in comparison!

Over the past several months I've upped my number from four to twelve, I think. And am just now looking through the 1982 Calendar illustrated by Darrell Sweet I received in the mail today.

Lovely, bright pictures!

It always interesting to see how others view scenes from the books.

I ordered it for the Master Bath in the home we're renovating.

However, after finally getting a look at it, I can definitely say that it is a bathtub fit for an Elf.

Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I had posted here.

A really fabulous 12-inch Legolas. It was such a great likeness of Orlando that I had to have it, preciousss...yesss, I did.

Also got a few 6-inch figures:
Helm's Deep Legolas (with surf-shield)
Uruk-Hai with crossbow
Traveling Bilbo

Also some 3-inch figures:
Gondorian Soldiers (with King Elessar, Royal Guard & Bowman)
Marching to Mordor (with Frodo & Sam in orc armor & orc whipmaster)

Cool Frodo bookmark with him looking down at the Ring in his hand and the movie quote "even the smallest person can change the course of the future". It unfolds and shows pics with a short blurb of some of the different races/locations in Middle Earth (Gondor, Elves, Rohan, Dwarves, Ringwraiths, Orcs & Uruk-Hai).

Collector's edition of 'The Hobbit' illustrated by Alan Lee

And, last but not least, RotK on dvd.

Very nice, Miss Lynn.

I recieved my 'Lijah pics the other day, both of them with a big smile on his Li'l face.

Also the ring, and copper-colored plastic coin with a not-so-bad likeness of the Li'l guy.

I am still trying to resist bidding TOO much on ebay, yet...as neither my checking/savings accounts are quite up to where they were, and I don't want to go spending money that's not there.

Plus, I need to invest in some more pages to hold the cards I'm getting in.

Speaking of Cards.....
