Fortunately bats don't like to fly in the daylight and so nested in Aragorn's hair.

And Hookbill Pratchett is as good if not better than Douglas Adams.

Unfortunately these witchy gloves had a mind a of their own and after picking up the Ring they slid off Gandalf's hands and ran away.
