Is isn't really about addiction of the barrowdowns, but...
You know you're addicted when you wake up from a nap snuggled close to a copy of the Silmarillion as if it were a plush animal, but you have to admit it was some pretty good sleep.

Loggin on from a ruddy Internet cafe just to tell you all that I've seen 'em filming Northern Lights. I am, admittedly totally beside myself with excitement as I do love the books!
Anyway, I'd better get back to the pub, hadn't I? ![]()

...when you start thinking in Philosophy class: "hey! that person reminds me of so-and-s0"- from the Barrowdowns.
My Philosophy class has: a "Feanor of the Peredhil" a fat "Rune son of Bjarne" an "Anguirel" a "Kath" Of course, this couldn't stay contained in Philosophy... it had to spread to English and Art History as well... English has: an "Encaitare" another "Anguirel" a "Valier" Art History has: a "The KA" a "Bêthberry" (actually, that's the teacher...) a "Mithalwen" a "the guy who be short" It's an addiction, I fear...
