Oh he's not evil... well... not completely.
It's probably best not to try and figure out his motivation as its just a stupid comic strip where weird stuff happens...

On the question of Alien's arms / hands. I generally work with the idea that he is like Homestarrunner in that his arms are invisible but still functional.

This weeks issue includes a special report on the Ultimate weapon...

Hurrah! It's back! Incidentally, I often think that episode of 'Who would make for a nice comparison with what happens to Morgoth but hardly anyone will have seen it apart from us Brits and Canucks.

I doubt it can be Morsul, since he is already dead

But, it could be Lalwende, since Alien might have felt threatened by her investigating the case
Strange though he would use acid, I thought his method was simply eating things, like Phantom's pets or Damrod...

btw Hookbill, I guess you were right about the comic becoming more interesting

No, I'm still here. It would take far more than mere acid to deal with my corpse...pickled as it is in deep strata of nicotine and cholesterol...
