It should not be too hard if you could do with rain-boots (wellingtons?), it is unlikely that Tom B was wearing this kind of boots, but it might do the trick.

Back in the days all wellingtons used to be yellow, but then they started to make them in many colours for children and green for adults. . . The work of Saruman, I am sure!
