Unfortunately, during the Noldo win Maedros's
prosthetic hand came off and was carried
by a gleeful balrog back to Thangorodrim.

Fortunately (although not for the balrog)
he was watching the mst3000 version of
the Crawling Hand and the hand decided
to strangle the balrog on the theory that
one good hand deserves another.
