Oooh, I was clenching my Hobbit book so tight that I left my hand imprint on it. I was so mad at how Thranduil haughtily handled Thorin and his company, and then having the nerve to show up afterwards with an army at Erebor after Smaug was killed and say, "hey, where are my jewels?" But that's another topic for another time. The point is: Gimli is no ordinary dwarf.
