I like rebuses, so I attempted this.

([named by shapeshifter] - [elvish noble] - stone) + ([where an unlikely pair ended their days] - island - g) + ([a jolly dancer] - [and anon]) + ([elvish winter] - ([blue water!?] - blue - R2)) + ([quenya for a hidden rock] - action! - song) = between a great one and an iron one in days past

"Water" is not the best description, but it would have been way too easy if I was clearer... You're correct with hrive.
