 The ending approaches... And it's rather predictable from here... Are laser eyes also mandatory? Also, Phantom got what was coming to him. What did cats ever do to him? It's not like they bite you and slobber all over you all the time.

How does one drink oneself into a "comma"?
I can see drinking oneself to the point of exclamation points, or even question marks, but not a comma. And I won't even mention colons, as that is a rather risque bit of punctuation when drinking. P.S. Although I have known people who have drank themselves into an ellipsis. One minute they are conscious and speaking, and then all of a sudden they...
