Did hobnail boots from Morgul Vale
Walk up the crags to Orodruin;
And was the home of Uruk-hai
In Mordor's ill-fed wrack and ruin!

And did the Dark Lord's dread design
Spew forth upon the countless hordes?
And was Barad-dur builded here
Among the slag heaps of Mordor?

Bring me my bow all ebon' stained;
Bring me my chain mail rusted hard:
Bring me my spear with poison tip!
Bring me my crooked scimitar!

I shall not sleep in Lugbúrz's shade
Until a Tark dies by my sword!
And we rebuild tall Barad-dur
