T, I don't know if you even check in here anymore, but I finally found this one.

It's Bereg of the house of Bëor, answering the council of elf-friends who advocated aiding the Noldor in their quest to defeat or at least restrain Morgoth. Bereg was bitterly disappointed that Men had made a difficult journey out of the East seeking the Light in the West, only to find that the Light was out of reach beyond the sea and they had come to a place that was at least as dangerous as the one they had left behind.
