thanks for the encoragement Galpsi.I know what you mean about unwinding-very little of my middle - earth time is spent 'constructively' on yhe silm project. I can take comfort in the fact that this seems to beJRRT's dilemna also. You may well be right about future participation.
until then maybe I will try my hand at the Fall of Gondolin.
