yes we had better talk to ron about setting up a seperate Hobbit/lotr canon section right away!
there are atleast 543 instances of orc not being changed to ork yet , and that is just the tip o' the 'berg.

p.s. I think I wuld like to have a private chat w/ you about scanners [it of course has only a little to do w/ this project].

I have read a bit of XII's appendix material esp . aragorn and arwen. I was disappointed that there was no more to be seen re: arnor but maybe I missed it as my reading of it was less than sytematic.
