well, unlike some of you, I have been in love, and that love became very, very sick and had a hard time living a normal life... but I still loved him, even though I knew that there was the possibility of his dying long before I ever did. so I guess I'm trying to say that I would cast in my lot with Luthien and Arwen, even though my mortal lover was doomed to die. (he hasn't yet, by the way [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] )
