Sad, but true
I left my tennis shoe.
Now I'm hopping to the mall
Because of YOU!

Now, some folks never had the chance
To step in bubble gum.
And I'm sure when they throw it down
They think it won't hurt anyone.

But all you need to do
Is take a look at me.
And if you're in a parking lot
This is what you'll see
Because,

I'm tiptoeing to the mall
Because of you, you, you!
And the sticky bubble gum
That you like to chew, chew, chew!

When no trash can is around,
Oh, please don't throw it down.
Put it in your pocket,
In your hair.
Anywhere but on the ground!
Because, I can't afford another shoe!
