I think Tolkien must have been a person who liked to walk. Has anybody read anything to support this?

Kept thinking yesterday how awful it would be to be out in the wilderness in the cold pouring rain. I expect it happened to Strider quite often! Builds character I suppose! [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]

Can't deny the fellowship were a heathly lot! The only cold I can remember reading about belonged to Bilbo!
