Windows ME perhaps, it certainly corrupts everything it comes into contact with!!!

And it is difficult to get rid of, XP is too expensive for my meagre budget!

using Windows, Sauron could network his nazgul up and use a webcam for constant vigilance, no need for a palantir anymore!
