				  | HAIKU

japanese poems today have gained my fancy now i share my joy tolkien's world, nature these haikus must have them both because i say so real haikus, proper they must have some nature theme wind blows on cold plain it shan't be hard, though middle-earth is full of it all is in nature and commentary dont do it in prose or ill make you pay on that very note my haikus proper commence right after this one HELM'S DEEP here the dead mount high the forest overtakes all only wind remains [ November 13, 2002: Message edited by: burrahobbit ]

Stars Does she ever see Stars as bright on black canvas? My sweet tears - not yet. Gandalf "There's one way only - To find the vile Cracks of Doom And cast the Ring there!" Provocation is a Tender Trap And that sweet laughter Tinkled through the sun-drench'd woods And cast him in love. Autumnal Come and fall with me Let Autumnal wist take us Send us to sadness. Enjoyable thread burrahobbit friend I will soon return.

Nightingale keens at last on a darkling plain. Evenstar eclipsed. Frodo's mortal heart was aroused by rain-drenched song: River-daughter's laugh. Yet title intrigues. What tender trap do you read, Poet, love or quest? Leaf fall and lock lost: Autumnal wist take Gimli with Galadriel. The form answering, an expostulation now: 'Tis less cold control than measured finesse, distillation of desire, intensity wrought. Bethberry [ November 17, 2002: Message edited by: Bethberry ]

Congratulations on your personal title, Perilous Poet. So you would wish to preserve imperishable the fleeting flower? Yet you grant words wings. Sounds silmarillish to me, confus'd signified and signifier. Respect Goldberry's wash day: Ringbearer's lesson. Although perhaps your point is indeed that, but with hint of Balrog's wings? Bethberry
