Thorin: Playing Seamus the Happy Leprechaun at a children's party (what exactly did he do for a living when living in exile?)

Glaurung: Singing I'm a Little Teapot with actions.

Wormtongue: Pinning Saruman's portrait to a dartboard

Túrin: Asking Beleg to get rid of a spider for him.

Sam: Pawning the Baggins family silver to buy beer.

Treebeard: Herding trees into a paper mill.

Celeborn: Using the Mirror as a latrine
