Here's an import from "LotR Meets Christmas Carols"...an old poem taken from the Red Book Of Westmarch...quite telling...

Rudolph, the red-nosed Ringwraith
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows

All of the other Ringwraiths
They used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any Ringwraith games

Then one foggy Mordor night,
Sauron came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright
Won't you find my Ring tonight?"

Then all the Ringwraiths loved him
As they screeched out with glee
Rudolph the red-nosed Ringwraith
You'll go down in history!
