Horse-Maiden: I agree that Elwing does not sound too realistic, and hobbits were one of the races not recommended. Why don't you try the same personality, but as a human with a different history? Or, even easier, portray her as a wood-elf.

Wow, this discussion sure attracted a lot of people pretty quickly... I think we'll have a few more spots, though. Here's everyone on board so far:

Ithaeliel as Endereth- Noldorin elf
Mattius as Mattius- Elf/Wizard
Auriel Haevasawen as Radagast the Brown- Istari
Brinniel as Calentoliel- Elf(/Maia?)
Mark12_30/Helen as LinGalad- Silvan elf
Aylwen Dreamsong as Ajada- Human of Gondor
Manardariel as Anarya- Human of Gondor
DayVampyre as Avery- Human of Gondor
Lyra Greenleaf as Telpeheled- Elf of Lorien
Horse-Maiden of the Shire as Elwing(?)- Elf? Human?
VanimaEdhel as Kalir- Human of Isengard (territory of Gondor)

How about a few Ents? Entwives would also be acceptable. It would be incredibly interesting to see some of those types; I might double as an Ent myself. We also may want men of Rohan, since messengers were sent out to all inhabited lands of Middle-earth, save the Shire. Variety is good. I'm happy with the present turnout, though!
