The X Phial enjoyed watching the dancing from her perch but soon got a bit hungry. "Damn my metabolism," she thought to herself as she zigged and zagged down to one of the buffet tables. A huge assortment of dishes loomed over her and she took her insectish time choosing a bit of each. Every time a two legged creature came near she hid beneath a convenient flower arrangement...also tasty.

When she had eaten her fill while avoiding the swatter of doom, The X Phial decided to take a little snooze on the wall by the quickly disappearing balrog wings.

"My, my," she heard as she dozed off, "these wings are tasty but so insubstantial you'd think they were made of shadows."
