Rimbaud has just left Hobbiton.
Pipe

I would also recommend reading Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien as compiled and edited by Humprey Carpenter.

Auxilliary texts of interest:

Carpenter's J. R. R. Tolkien: A Biography

Tom Shippey's J. R. R. Tolkien: Author of the Century (don't be too put off by the hyperbole).

Not necessarily related to ME but interesting Tolkien works:
Tree and Leaf: Comprising Leaf By Niggle and On Fairy-Stories.

Smith of Wootton Major.

Farmer Giles of Ham.
