Thanks everyone! It was wisdom teeth BUT ... what had happened was that a nerve had gotten "tangled" in the roots of one and the tooth was sort of stretching out the nerve. I passed out twice from the pain and it was a last minute emergency that it had to come out. And if that wasn't enough, I ended up having to have five wisdom teeth that needed removing and because my mouth is pretty small they had to do a lot of extra slicing and dicing. Not too pretty.

But anyways, they didn't touch my hand except for the IV so I can still type for as long as I'm awake. [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img]
