Vern has no suspicions, I just figured the woman wouldn't be very polite and kind to an old cook. I'm sure she could only manage her mask of politeness and such to escape suspicion toward important people. Plus, Vern knows there are just some Nobles who are quite nasty toward people of lower rank than them, especially servants. Vern isn't much above a servant, or is basically one... Do you get what I mean? I sometimes have trouble putting my thoughts into words... [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
