"Good night," Kalia laughed, walking out of the room. She closed the door and went back into her room. Once there, she tried sleeping, but couldn't. Everything was black, and then came back into focus. She stood up and opened the window. Kalia leapt out and plummeted to the ground. She tried opening her wings, but couldn't. She woke up gasping and sweating. She looked around and found that she was still in her room, but the window had been left open. She walked over and closed it. When she turned back around, there was another note, but thi time on her pillow. It read:
Leave the elf alone. Leave him alone if you value yours and your friends' lives.
She shook her head and ripped it up again. Stupid. There was no possible waty she would stop from helping Calad. She climbed into bed and fell asleep, this time having a peaceful sleep.
