Birdie packed her ol' kit bag, preparing to go. "Let's see; change of socks, leaf gloss, her trusty sling, (Birdie uses the "Ayla" two-stone throwing technique, since everyone knows you can't kill one Bird with two stones), some Elven rope (EVERYBODY carries Elven rope these days), spare batteries for the laptop, to be pulled out when Veritas has need for them, her copy of "Ents of Middle Earth" field guide, and some trail mix, in case the Lembas gets old.

Slinging her pack over her back and tying her sling to her belt, she walks to the group. "Well, let's get this show on the road. Sooner there, sooner back." She starts to whistle "Oh Woodman Spare That Tree" through her teeth.

"Oh, by the way; how are we gonna get to Fangorn without some kind of REG-transporter devise?"
