OOC -- Durshag does sound like an Orc! Maybe he has a secret hobrim name he tells only to friends or something? Can we give Durshag an "old Westron" name? Water in Westron is "nin" There aren't a lot of words in Westron, but here are some possibilities:

Kalinin - merry or happy water
Nasnin - water people

Hey, here's another idea for a last or family name: In Westron, "Tarkil" means person of Numenorean descent. In view of our possible story line that has possibilities, especially if someone starts digging in the records at Minas Tirith and finds out exactly what that last name signifies.

How about: Kalinin Tarkil, or Kali, for short? (Kali sounds more like a hobbit than Durshag.)

I am flexible about the name of the ship. They all sound fine. Whatever you (Pio, Bird, Rose, Mith, etc.) decide is fine.

Will we name the new thread after the ship?

Do we need to have a separate discussion thread, or is it better to handle it all on the same thread like we are doing now?
