Do I want it? Arilewen was slightly stunned that she out of all was chosen, but more than anything, she wanted to see Valinor. She barely noticed when the meeting ended. And as the other elves made their way out of the no longer crowded meeting, she collapsed against a tree and looked at the note in her hand. In firm script it told her to meet the others going on the journey on the outskirts of Lothlorien after sunrise. It didn't leave her much time to pack, but she sat staring at the note in her hand for a long time before she rose to go to her flet and pack.

Valinor! The Blessed Realm of the Lords of the West had beckoned to her in her dreams, ever since she was young. To speak with the Valar face to mighty face would be enough to fill all the ages of eternity with a wonder vast as the stars of Elbereth. Elbereth! Why, if Arilewen could get up the courage to once speak with Varda Elentari would be the height of rapture.
