Maegaladiel has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

Nahai felt a pang of sorrow tear at her heart. His story sounded painfully like her own.

"My parents were murdered as well, as I've said," she said softly. "What you don't know is, that they were killed by men because of what they were." Enlothien looked at her, questioningly.

"Pardon?"

"My mother and father were...skin-changers. They had the power to shape-shift. Like me." She rarely told anyone this secret, but she felt as though she could trust this assasin. "They were murdered because people feared what they were. They condemn what they do not understand." She pulled her cloak tighter around her, staring into her ale. "I escaped, although barely. They gave their lives for mine. After that, I went to live with my uncle, Beorn, on the outskirts of Mirkwood, until I was old enough to be on my own. I then moved into the forest for a while, vowing to someday find the men who murdered my family and have my revenge." She gave a sad smile. "And here I am. Still looking."
