"Now," said Robin, taking Bandy's hand as the Elf came through the door. "That, Bandy-love, is an Elf."

Her young son stared wide-eyed and the new arrival, and then he looked up at his mother. "Is that the one of the ones you tell me about, Mummy?"

"No, that's not Nicrabanwen or Nurumaiel," said Robin with a laugh. "That's a different one."

"Is it the one you said raised Nurumaiel? The Rinna... Rinna... Rinna-something one?"

Robin wasn't listening. Her keen ears caught the mention of the Elves name, and she thought for a moment to see if it was familiar. It was not.

"No, her name is Enedacilwen," said Robin. She stood up. "Now stay with your father, children," she said, setting her daughter down. "I'm going to find out where our room is. You babies look tired."

"I'm not a baby and I'm not sleepy," said Bandy, trying to hide a yawn. Robin laughed and kissed his check, then approached the innkeeper.

"Excuse me... Miss Primrose was the name I caught. We're wondering where our room is? We signed in as Mr. Dinodas Green. Do you think you could find its whereabouts?"
