Morwyn had listened to this whole conversation silently, the thoughts of mischief driven from her head for now. Nahai had handled the woman's accusations remarkably well, but she was shaking. Annalaliath looked worried as well.

Morwyn took a deep drink of her latest mug of cider and gazed around the common room warily. How was it that Nahai, who trusted no-one until recently, was so well known to these people?

"Perhaps we should retire for the evening?" suggested Morwyn quietly to Nahai and Annalaliath. "Things may quiet down by morning..."
