Legolas'_girl has just left Hobbiton.
Sting

Melcildir was taken by surprise when he felt a weight drop onto his back. He tried to struggle, but found that there were two blades against his body, one of them dangerously close to his throat. He thrashed around a bit longer, trying to rid himself of the Easterling. But he had pushed his luck. The dagger at his throat drew in closer and cut his neck.

Melcildir stopped struggling for a moment and the Easterling thought he had surrendered. But, with a single swift motion, he stabbed backwards with one of his daggers and slashed at the arm around his neck with his other dagger. The easterling fell to the cave floor with a cry of pain. Quickly, Melcildir spun around to block a blow from a sword; the Easterling had jumped up to attack dispite her bleeding arm and side.

The elf fought with the easterling for what seemed like a long time, but in reality, it was only a few minutes. Blow for blow, Melcildir blocked his opponent's blade until, when he felt the Easterling slack off a bit, he kicked aimed a kick into her mid-section. The kick took the desired effect, and the easterling was thrown backwards into a stack of crates.

But, Melcildir had no time to waste in waiting for the easterling to rise, because an Orc was coming towards him. Taking the split-second he had before the Orc was close to him, Melcildir re-sheathed one of his daggers and drew his sword. With a quick sweeping motion, he had sliced the Orc neatly in two.

Now, for that Easterling...he thought. I don't imagine she'd be dead...
