The elf had stayed upon the outskirts of the battle, fighting with the weapon he was most secure with. He had moved in to help Melcildir when it had been necessary.

He looked up when the horn sounded. His grey eyes quickly scanning the scene. Golden hair of a slain elf was visible to him and he knelt down beside his fallen comrade. Dirt streaked face revealed it to be Durelin and Lofinnaes closed his eyes in a silent prayer to Mandos. He reached down with thumb and forefinger to gently close the lids ... his eyes would see no more upon middle earth.

He rose quickly and took off in pursuit of the company. Pausing, he cast one more glance backwards before moving off again.
