Galadriel used hers at one point in UT to form a mist that covered the riding of the Eothed (sp? I haven't read that in a while) and the ring's power was also evident when we look at Lorien - like Rivendell and the Grey Havens, it never withered and remained a sanctuary (not sure if someone has already pointed this out...excuse me if that is so, I'm too lazy to read all the posts <img src=biggrin.gif ALT="
