You have stumbled onto a Tolkien group that has an unusually high percentage of Christians posting. I believe it's the policy banning Slash that is responsible. Of course, who am I to tease our Christian friends - I was an ordained Buddhist nun for 14 years. Anyways, enjoy, and do take time to introduce yourself to mark12_30, Bethberry, Child of the 7th Age, Gandalf the Grey and of course, Joy... some of our more erudite Christians on the board.
