When did Turin slain Melkor? they've never met. Melkor never used to leave Angmar (except when he fought against Fingolfin) and Turin never was there. The only one who hurt Melkor was Fingolfin.

He is my choice, he conducted his people to Middle Earth, and he was the head of the most important and brave resistance to Melkor during the wars. He faced Melkor in a fight and was able to hurt him, although couldn't resist enough.
