Re: What? Hmmmm......I really do think this is a very futile arguement since the pro-movie fans aren't going to yield and nor is the anti-movie segment. However, I shall jump into the fray anyway. The point is, why do we need to see an interpretation at all? Gone With the Wind is a different matter. At least the main characters were human. Here we're going to see PJ's interpretation of elves and Balrogs and what not. As a movie I have no doubt it will be fantastic. But only if you don't see it as LoTR. What if - what if this is as good as it gets?
