I think that overall there was excellent casting.. from the looks of them, they couldnt have picked better actors for characters like Gandalf, Theoden, Gimili, etc. But for some of the other actors, like Elrond and Arwen.. I have my doubts to say the least. "Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends."
