Re: Is the movie such a good idea? mind you- it is directed by a Tolkien lover- and filmed here in New Zealand- where they filmed the dead marshes scene was quite similar to how I envisioned it... "A little people, but of great worth are the Shire-folk. Little do they know of our long labour for the safekeeping of their borders, and yet I grudge it not."
