"You'll have to toss me. Don't tell the Elf."<BR>Hee hee!<P>Yes he was silly in the movie, but I think people needed that comic relief. From a non-Tolkienite's view (not me!) the movie was quite depressing and dark. Gimli was there to lighten the situation. Maybe he tried too hard, but it was funny. At least I thought so.
