I agree, I was sorta freaked out when I saw Galadriel's "transformation". Granted, I read reviews before I saw the movie so I KNEW that was going to happen, but they could have been a little more subtle. I was like, "okay I know she would turn evil if she had the ring already, now ease up on the special effects!"
