Since we're spending most of our time "defending" Legolas, isn't he the one who saved (in the movie) Aragorn, when he was "grappling" with one of the Uruk-Hai? He also caught Boromir and kept him from falling off of the stairs in Moria, even though the two had shared choice words in Rivendell.
