Well, to all this male/female debating. "Three rings to the elven KINGS" But Galadriel was one of them. Hmmm, I wonder if Celeborn knows something we don't? And after being stabbed, it was said, that Frodo would become a ringwraith(Nazgûl) if he was not healed quickly. Nowhere mentioned that it couldn't have happened to a woman!!!! I LOOOOVE the Nazgûl.
