Obviously, I am fond of the stories about king Arthur, too! <BR> <BR>Perhaps you could compare Elaine's hopeless love for Lancelot to Eowyn's feelings (though I think Lancelot gave her more reason for falling in love, and she is not so brave and warlike as Eowyn). <BR>But you can hardly compare Lancelot (thoroughly human, a "sinful" man) to Aragorn (almost a superhuman hero in the book). <BR> Arwen and Guinevere cannot be compared at all!
