Yeah, and also from such a high point he could see a long way into the distance while hardly moving, then catch up with the fellowship at night, when he couldnt be seen, wheras if he had been in the river or at ground level, he would have had to keep moving so as not to lose sight of them, and would stand more chance of being seen.<P>It really makes you wonder what other things they put in that you havent noticed, dosent it?<P>Bombariffic
