Also I like the idea that the Hobbits are so taken with Merry, Pippin and sam as they look and act like heroes but ignore Frodo. Well maybe like is the wrong word- it's very unfair! I was very upset that they cut the Ent Draught- one of my favourite lines was (something like) "If you mean to beat the Old Took I can't see why we can't go after the Bullroarer."
